Your voice, I hear it, yet sometimes I struggle to discern.
I claim to be ignorant when truthfully it's my own desires I yearn.
I sometimes try to argue that it's not Your voice I hear.
I'd better stop taking Your will lightly before I end up in damnation's pier.
The Voice I hear is the same One which told Noah to build the Ark.
Lord bless me to use wisdom, bless me to follow You with my whole heart.
Thank You for giving me an understanding, thank You for pulling me out of Hell's grip.
Thank You for overriding my immaturity. Sweet King thank You for using love instead of a whip.

I don't mind loving and serving You with all of my heart.
You are the One I desire, from You I don't want to depart.
What others think in regards to my Love, I don't really care.
You are mine, Your will I love, there is nothing to compare.
I don't want the ways of the world as I look upon Your face.
Your Word, Your call, Your Spirit will keep me fastened to this race.
I am reaching for misguided souls who are standing in hell's path
as Your might moves within me to help others escape Judgement's wrath.
Lord You're still here, You have not turned Your back.
We all still have a chance though in many ways we lack.

You have always answered my prayers, even when I didn't submit to Your plan.
When I chose to sin as my guide, You still extended Your hand.
As I chose to serve the Liar, my name You continued to call.
I wanted a God that was true, but I refused to give my all.
Well now here's my chance and evil keeps getting in my way.
I will not succumb to sin, God will be my hope and my stay.
Bless Your holy name sweet Jesus, I will praise You forever more.
I am thankful that You called and continued to hold open the door!
I wasn't perfect, I wasn't fast and the promises I made I didn't keep.
But You're loving kindness which endures forever didn't forsake me though I was weak.
Thank You Savoir for working with my heart,
never leaving me in the hell that I refused to depart.
Can I say it again!? Can I let everyone know!?
Jesus Christ My Savoir refused to let me go!
I had a stubborn heart that refused to yield.
I chose to take sin's paths as opposed to the Shepherd's field.
YET JESUS CHRIST SAVED ME! He extended His loving hand
and pulled this backward sinner into His beautiful plan.

I'm going to a place I have never been.
A place where I'll live eternally at peace and unscathed by sin.
I look forward to meeting various Saints who pursued the Christ.
Moses, Paul, Jael, Peter, honorable vessels who've sacrificed.
"Were you burned at the stake?" "Were your children tortured and killed?"
These questions won't come to mind as with joy I will be filled.
I'm going to a place where I will see Him at last.
O yes all the crowns He's helped me receive, at His feet them will I cast.
I'm going to this place and no one will deter my trip.
No naysayer, family member or demon will persuade me to slip.
This place is prepared for me, as it's resident my heart is set.
My heart is focused on Him and my mind will be kept.
I'm going to this place, oh please come along
leave your burdens, strife and sadness and come to where you belong.

To those who are fighting and striving to be pure,
the struggle may seem tedious but His strength will endure.
Keep pressing for your prize, Satan is a defeated foe.
He antagonizes and pesters because He most certainly does know
that your value in God's kingdom is exceedingly rare.
Your special ways help usher others into an eternity beyond compare.
If your life lines up with the Word, and you're doing the best you can do...
keep moving forward, stay in the race, and GOD will see you through.

When you feel as if your faith muscle has been overworked,
and you're tired of all the directions your life has been jerked...
continue to press forward, don't give up or quit.
Endure hardness as a good soldier, don't let your priorities slip.
Keep your mind focused on the task sent from above.
Father is helping you to grow, be thankful for His protection and love.
He knows everything--including your current state.
He knows the desires of your heart and all that is at stake.
Be aware that He is all wise and only His eyes can see
how you're being cultivated into who He destined you to be.
So stay strong dear soldier and stick out your chest.
Move forward with this Gospel, I dare you to be a success.
God has equipped you for life abundant and new.
Pearled gates are waiting and glistening for you.
Your paths have been established, your reward won't tarnish or dim.
Stay strong dear soldier, stay strong--endure, endure and win.

I am no prisoner, I can finally see
the great rewards and treasures Jesus has purchased for me.
No longer am I deceived, no longer will I bow,
the person I was before is not who I am now.
I believe in His power, I can fully see
that through God's strength I will obtain my victory.
So get away from me liar I have no reason to doubt.
The future rests in His hands, strongholds will be knocked out.
You won't deceive me from my reward, His voice I will hear.
The reality of who I'm purposed to be is gradually coming clear.
My trust in His Word will guide me throughout each day.
No longer am I guided by lies, no longer will I be lead astray.

Let go of it, let go of it now:
the excessive thoughts and worrying about "How?"
Let God take care of what you're going through.
He can handle it on His own and He's telling you
to stop thinking it over, worrying can make you sick.
Pick up your shield of faith and tell Satan to quit.
Don't allow baggage to stagger your pace
nor distract you from this soul saving race.
Let the baggage go and get a good grip
on Calvary's purpose--don't allow your mind to slip.
Please do us all a favor and let the hindrances go.
(Satan put them on your path so he can steal the show.)
Tell him he's a liar and refuse to take a bite
of fruit intended to keep your crown out of sight.

Despite many opportunities to lay down and cry,
you've continued to push forward though at times you've wondered why.
In your life you have seen bruises and pain
and sometimes there were no rainbows after the rain.
Yet you continued to live and face each day anew...
Why? Because God has something purposed just for you.
Within you is a Strength that some may not see,
a divine power which created you be:
exactly who you are--every flaw, talent and style.
(Jesus placed you on this planet because He knows that you're worthwhile.)
So elevate your chin and look others in the eye,
redeem your salvation, don't let it pass you by.
Jesus desires for you to know and always see
that you're purposed for His kingdom right now and eternally.
He took the time to make you because you play an important part
in impacting those around you and filling a special place in His heart.

Because Somebody shed His blood for me that's the reason why
I sing songs in adoration to Him as I bow my knees and cry.
My Savior, Jesus Christ, has done more for me than I understand.
He's healed my family, kept us safe and involved me in His glorious plan.
My Redeemer, my Friend who looks past all of my mistakes,
gives me a life of beauty and good pleasure though evil abounds and takes.
For this lost, misguided hater of the Cross He most certainly did die.
He was beat, He was tortured, He gave His life so in Hell I don't have to sigh.
And even today though I've been a Christian for oh so many years,
He forgives me for my willingness to sin when I ignore His Crucifixion tears.
Because my Savior shed His blood for me I don't care what anybody thinks.
I live my life in a peculiar way without ties to any of Satan's links.
I enjoy serving the LORD and I will remain obedient to His will.
Though others don't understand or agree, my focus on Him will remain still.
He is faithful to me, tender, abundant loving, wise and true.
Though trails reside and storms abide, He shows me, "I"m here with you."
In recognition of Calvary's purpose, my life has turned and changed.
Because Somebody shed His blood for me I keep my eyes on Heaven's range.
He shed His blood for you as well and hopefully we will be
all that He intended us to with joy and peace eternally.
